Product Guarantee
All our products undergo a quality inspection on receipt from our suppliers. Every effort is made to ensure that the items are in pristine condition.
In addition, all products supplied have a 6 month manufacturer’s guarantee against faults.
In the unlikely event of a fault or receiving damaged goods, please follow our returns procedure.
Authenticity
All our bags are truly original and display an authenticity label indicating this. For example, our Aprile range features an authenticity tag and care instructions.
Our Carbotti range bears the “True Italy” tag which displays a unique code and serial number for the bag. This indicates that the bag is genuine in its origin and allows you to check out its authenticity on the True Italy website (www.trueitaly.com).
Money Back Guarantee
Should you decide that you do not want the goods on delivery, or change your mind, you have a 7 day money back guarantee. Please follow the returns procedure detailed in our returns policy.
Returning Goods
Please note that return costs are not pre-paid. Postage or other return costs will be your responsibility and will be reimbursed by us only in the case of damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.
In the event of returning a gift wrapped item, please note that we are unable to refund the cost of the gift wrapping.
Cancelling Your Order
You can cancel your order at any time prior to despatch. Please email us immediately at: sales@handbagsfromitaly.co.uk notifying us of your intention to cancel. If the goods have not been despatched, we will arrange a refund to your card and notify you by email.
Once you have received your order you still have the right to cancel within 7 working days. Please follow the returns policy.
Returns Policy
We always make a great effort to process orders immediately and as such it may not be possible to cancel and stop an order from being despatched. In this instance, please email us at: returns@handbagsfromitaly.co.uk giving your full order details and order number, stating that it is your intention to cancel your order.
In this instance, the goods must be returned to us within a period of 7 days of receiving the goods. Goods must be in 100% saleable condition, ie with all labels, tags and original packaging intact.

The goods must be securely packaged with the completed returns form enclosed and returned by either signed for courier service or recorded delivery.

The cost of your order will be reimbursed, but not postage costs. Please allow up to 30 days for refund to your card.
We reserve the right to withhold part or all refund should the goods be returned in an unsatisfactory state and are not 100% saleable condition.
In the event of failure to return goods to us within the stipulated time limits, even though validly cancelled, we will have the right to charge for any costs incurred in the recovery of the goods.
Please note: “100% saleable condition”, means that the goods are returned in their original packaging with all labels, swing tags etc intact. The packaging and goods on inspection must be in 100% condition and suitable for sale.
Faulty or Damaged Goods
All our goods undergo a strict quality control process prior to despatch to ensure that they meet our stringent quality standards. In addition, all our products are securely packaged to ensure that they reach you in the same condition as they were manufactured.
However, in the unlikely event that you receive a product that is damaged or faulty, you should undergo the following procedure:
Please email us at: returns@handbagsfromitaly.co.uk immediately providing all your order details – order number, product details, your name and address. Please also give as much detail as you can regarding the fault or damage.
You will need to download and complete a returns form.
Please then arrange to send the item back to us at the address detailed below. Please ensure that you include the necessary completed returns form and that it is packaged correctly and securely and is returned using a signed for courier or recorded delivery to:

On receipt of the returned goods, our quality control department will examine the product. Faulty items will only be accepted if the goods are delivered to the customer damaged or there is a subsequent manufacturing fault within a period of 6 months after delivery. All items returned as faulty will be inspected and any item deemed to be subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty.
In some cases, it may be necessary to return the item to our manufacturers for further testing.
If in agreement that the product is indeed faulty, we will contact you and either offer you the same product (if available), an alternative product or a refund on your credit card. Please note that this can take up to 30 days.
Exchanging Goods
Should you wish to exchange an item, we are able to do this provided that you notify us by email within 7 days of despatch of your order. Please quote your order number and personal details along with the product exchange required and reasons to us at: returns@handbagsfromitaly.co.uk
You will need to download and complete a returns form.
The original goods must be in 100% saleable condition, with all packaging, swing tags and labels intact. Please return the goods in secure packaging with the completed paperwork enclosed, quoting your order number and the reason for return. The goods must be returned by signed for courier or recorded delivery to:

Once satisfied that these conditions have been met, we will arrange for the new item to be despatched. Any product price difference will be notified to you by email with any additional payment made in advance prior to despatch of replacement goods. In the event that the replacement item is of lower value than that of the original one, we will arrange to refund the price difference to your account – please note that this can take up to 30 days. Please note that postage and packaging charges will be incurred.
